Supplies

All students will need the following supplies in addition to an instrument:

  1. THREE-RING BINDER
  2. PENCIL
  3. LUGGAGE TAG (name/school/room number)
  4. ROSIN
  5. SOFT CLOTH
  6. SHOULDER PAD (the best are the "black bar" type or KUN shoulder pads)
  7. EXTRA SET OF STRINGS

    Measure for a Violin

    A yard stick works best. Place the stick against your child’s neck under the chin and stretch out the left arm to the side. Measure to the middle of the palm. If your child measures between sizes, choose the smaller size instrument.
